The Black Eyed Peas’Fergie’s music is horrible. But her attack on bloggers is even worse.
When discussing “Pedestal,” a track that rips bitchy bloggers and other Internet haters a new one. “I just think, ‘Wow, I’ve worked so hard for this, but what are you doing other than sitting there behind your computers and talking shit about people?’ If people don’t like me, fine, but don’t dis people if you’re not getting off your ass and doing something about your own life.”

It’s been a rough few weeks for me. And today will be an emotional day for me and for lots and lots of people who were touched by 9/11. A heartfelt prayer goes out to all of you who read this blog that peace might envelop your heart, that joy might overcome you, that you might seek peace in all that you do, and that in some small way you might reach out to someone today and give them a hug, give them a reason to smile. I leave you with the words of King Solomon.
To everything there is a season, and
a time to every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, and
a time to die;
a time to plant, and
a time to pluck up
that which is planted;
A time to kill, and
a time to heal;
a time to break down, and
a time to build up;
A time to weep, and
a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and
a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and
a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and
a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and
a time to lose;
a time to keep, and
a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and
a time to sow;
a time to keep silence, and
a time to speak;
A time to love, and
a time to hate;
a time of war; and
a time of peace.
- Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
