50 Cent files lawsuit against “Shoot the Rapper” game

Famous rapper 50 cent has sued Internet advertising company Traffix Inc. for using his image illegally in a new game called “Shoot the Rapper”. This lawsuit will amount to at least $1 million for damages incurred.

This new game shows 50 Cent walking back and forth in an ad across the top of a Web page while the viewer is encouraged to shoot him by aiming and clicking with the mouse.

Although it does not use the 50 Cent’s name, his lawyer believes that this image resembles the character and physical description of the rapper.

  2. it is fine that he is sueing. shoot the rapper? i think that anyone would react the same way he did. 50 is my favorite rapper and i think that he is doing well, and doing the right thing by sueing the internet advertisement company because he feels that ppl are going to shoot him on a game, which is very disturbing. you go 50 i got your back.

  3. This is too funny. What a publicity stunt. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is in on it to begin with. Remember 50, you reap what you sew so you deserve every bit of this. Sorry, but that’s the truth. Your gangsta lyrics and presentation only make you a target so to speak.

    I wonder if he would complaing if there was a game called “smack the ho”?
