Adsense can now be used with other contextual ad programs

googleadsense Adsense can now be used with other contextual ad programsA contextual ad is an ad that is based on the content of the site. Google’s Adsense ads are contextual, as is lots of other programs out there. However, until now Google hasn’t allowed you to use contextual ads on the same pages as Adsense. A change in the policies are in order, as is an updated TOS. Jennifer Slegg of Jensense got the story:

That is to say, publishers may now display other contextual ads on the same site or page as Google ads as long as they don’t have the same look and feel as our ads,” Brian Axe tells Jennifer Slegg of JenSense.

So, great news since freedom of choice rocks! I’m betting we’ll see lots of IntelliTXT ads in the near future…

  1. That’s great news! Just when I was toying with this exact same idea in bed last night and wondering if Google allows this.

Oh, my doubts are cleared. Thanks Thord for bringing us this news :)
