Apple is Bullying Bloggers over this?
According to TechCrunch, Apple is sending cease and desist letters out to bloggers for hosting a script that makes a Palm into a fake iPhone.
According to Paul Brien Apple’s legal goons demanded he take down the screenshot and the link to the file. I’ve decided to go ahead and post both in hopes I get a fancy letter in my inbox. I really doubt I will. It’s karma I never get picked on anymore.

Apple cleary infringes on Cisco’s trademark name iPhone while sending cease and desist letters to those making their Palm look like like an iPhone.

I have no intention of buying this new phone anyway, but it’s money wasted on stuff like this that makes a $300 phone into a $600 phone come June 2007.

Uh, actually, they don’t. Cisco’s claims are really weak.

Arrington has a good point about Apple going after the wrong people and alienating their customer base.

Posting the actual ZIP file would probably up your chances to getting a take down notice. Shoot me an email if you want a copy.
