RadioTimes.com selects LiveWorld for new social network-online community

RadioTimes.com, UK’s highly popular online guide to television and radio and part of BBC Worldwide, is using LiveWorld’s industry leading Community Center platform to help strengthen its listeners’ and viewers’ ties with the site and each other.

Radio Times is the essential guide to television and radio, with recommendations from Britain’s top TV writers, compelling editorial features and the best listings information available. Their new social network, powered by LiveWorld, features blogs by resident bloggers.

  1. I think it is interesting to make a radio network more social networked if you will. It is kind of like what the team members at http://www.filmcrave.com have done in relation to movies. Basically, you can write reviews, rate movies, and create top movie lists. All of this is relevant to the overall calculations of the site – making it a true social network. I hope the radio achieves success as niche markets open up much like filmcrave.com has opened it up for movie lovers.
