Blogging cigars pumps magazine website
Bloggers Blog points to the Cigar Aficionado magazine, who have launched four blogs to further push their website. While I have not read the magazine, it looks like a lifestyle glossy product, covering not only cigars but also travel and golf. And sure, it probably fits in.
This move is of course a good one. If the blogs are maintained they will further strengthen the relationship with the editorial staff of the magazine and its readers.
The website, however, needs a total overhaul. You know where to find me!

I was going to mention this in my own blog, but it seems like the guys at Cigar Aficionado got plenty of coverage. The only part of the announcement that didn’t sit well with me was that you could read the blogs, but had to be a CA subscriber to leave comments.

The Cigar Acicionada website has lacked for quite some time. You would think that they would fix it with the money they make. The magazine is nice though. I have a subscription and I try 3-4 of their highest rated cigars every time one comes out. It sucks you can’t leave comments on their blog without being a member. I wonder what the membership requirements are? Just a quick account make? Free?
