Boomj launches political site for baby boomers
BOOMj.com, a lifestyle portal serving Baby Boomers and Generation Jones, today launched the first interactive, integrated Political news and information portal targeted specifically at Baby Boomers and Generation Jones.
BOOMj Politics offers the most up-to-date news and information about all the candidates as well as polls and opinions, an opportunity for the candidates to interact with the constituency, and a forum for ongoing discussion among users.
“BOOMj.com will provide the first major online political community for both Boomers and Jonesers, combining content tailored specifically to this generational audience, along with unique interactive tools allowing members to find their collective voice and make it heard at a national level,” said Jonathan Pontell, the cultural historian and political advisor who coined the phrase “Generation Jones” or people born between 1954 to 1965.
