I think you missed the boat when Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island in Michigan were not mentioned. There are several attractions that allow pets to accompany their people, the ferries are pet-friendly and the island is wonderful. There are several restaurants that allow pets on the patio while the people enjoy a meal. Even the carriage rides welcome pets. Please feature this wonderful vacation spot soon!
