Digg goes to Microsoft for advertising deal

digg Digg goes to Microsoft for advertising dealMicrosoft announced that it has inked a deal today with Digg.com. The deal makes Microsoft the exclusive provider of display and contextual advertising on Digg.com.

“This move gives us an advertising partner with a larger organization and a more scalable technology platform to keep pace with Digg’s growth,” Kevin Rose, founder of Digg, said.

With this, Microsoft replaces Google’s advertising system within the site. Digg is still expected to work with Federated Media.
