E-commerce allows Zwinky users to use real money to buy virtual goods

zwinky.jpgIAC Consumer Applications and Portals (IAC CAP), a wholly owned business of IAC, announced the availability of e-commerce within Zwinky, one of the fastest growing social networks around.

The more than 9 million Zwinky users can now use a credit card or PayPal account to purchase ZBucks, Zwinky’s virtual currency, allowing them to buy virtual products, including new customizable college dorm rooms and furniture from the Z-Loft furniture store.

In Zwinky, users can shop for the latest fashions, chat with friends, play games, participate in events, and hang out in their dorm. Each user can virtually shop at one of many boutiques for clothes, accessories, furniture and other products. Users have already created over 10 million outfits. Zwinky users can also continue to earn ZBucks by playing games and visiting different locations within Zwinky.
