Gmail for everyone (don’t worry, still beta)

So yeah, it’s public beta now. If you haven’t tried Gmail (or Google Mail if you live in a country where Google gets whacked when using the Gmail name, like the UK or Germany) now is the time.

Then again, there’s probably enough invites spinning the web that Google won’t even see an increase in new accounts, right?

I wish they would scrap that beta thing soon. It’s so silly.

  2. Yeah, now that its for everyone, the POP mail fetch has decided to take a nap. Seems like many people, myself included, aren’t getting their mail from outside accounts.

  3. Sweet deal, I can finally stop taking requests from people to invite them to use Gmail. If anyone is looking to create a new Gmail account there is a screencast here http://www.screencasts.ca/node/215 showing you how to do it along with a few other tips.
    Thanks
