Google, Sina team up
Reuters reports that Sina Corp. and Google Inc. would cooperate on news, advertising and search services in China, the world’s second largest online community. Initially, the team up would allow Google users easier access to Sina’s news content.
“In the future, we can explore cooperation in advertising and search, and other areas,” Lee Kai-Fu, the president of Google in Greater China said.
Complete details of the agreement is still being worked out. Financial details were not disclosed.
