Internet Advertising to Surpass Radio in 2008
Internet Advertising worldwide will surpass Radio Advertising worldwide in 2008, according to media planning and buying firm ZenithOptimedia.
The Beeb reports that the ZenithOptimedia forecasts Internet Advertising to account for 8 percent of the world’s total advertising spending in 2008, compared with 7.9 percent for radio and that Ad spending on the Web is expected to grow six times faster than traditional media between 2006 and 2009.
