I have used YouTube posted videos for humourous credit card vignettes. None of these seem affected.

I have several sites where I use embedded YouTube videos, but the one site in which I have the highest number is the only one where the videos no longer play. At least, not for me in any browser. i had a friend half way across the country try and he had no problems. So the problem is even weirder than you might think.

I've noticed this a few times. I don't know if it's outright blocking of embedded content, or whether at times when server load is highest, those videos being used on external sites get lower priority than those being viewed directly.
