Jaxtr To Allow Blog Click-to-Call Service

A new service from Jaxtr allows you to place a link on your blog, that when clicked initiates a phone call to a predetermined phone number. Clicking the link calls your phone and connects you to the phone of the person who clicks the link.

The service could be a very useful way to allow your readers (or customers) to directly contact you. Although it will probably also become a big  pain for bloggers everywhere, as soon as spammers and telemarketers find a way to abuse the service.

By adding their jaxtr link to their email signature, global friends can call our users on their phone with the click of the mouse – without downloading any software, incurring international phone charges or even registering for jaxtr.
