This new social networking site empowers every ranter and hater to declare a Jihad or holy war against anything and everything that annoys us, no matter how trivial or stupid.

Although the name is insidious by context, it doesn’t encourage any acts of terrorism. All you have to do is fill out the jihad declaration form, write the name of your enemy, choose a category, and let all your feelings out.

Some of the funny jihads in this site talk about Ann Coulter, iPhone early adopters, Internet Explorer 6, and online applications. Even this site did not escape from “jihads” (see image above).

While this is intended mainly for humor and personal expression, there is something dangerous in this controversial site. I’ve seen some “jihads” about specific persons or companies. It might unfairly tarnish the online reputation of some people or organization, which might lead to some legal scuffle. Maybe a moderator is needed to control some of the contents.
