Meebo, one of the latest online platform for instant messaging, launches a “partner-friendly” version of the recently launched Meebo Rooms.

Currently, there are about 75,000 rooms created by meebo users since its launch in May of this year. Meebo Rooms, Partner Edition is intended to cater to corporate, high-trafficked and feature-rich sites.

“At meebo, our mission is to connect people live across the Web,” said Martin Green, Meebo’s VP of Business. “With the partner edition of rooms, sites can use meebo to build fan loyalty, increase their audience and grow their business.”

The first to adopt this new functionality are music and entertainment industry communities as Columbia Records, Radio One, Jive Records, Capitol Records, among others.
