Move Networks to provide high quality online video player for Discovery

discoverycommunications.jpgMove Networks announced that it will provide its state of the art publishing platform for Discovery Communications’ new, expanded online initiative featuring full-length episodes of select series and specials.

Move Networks, based in Utah, has become the premier publishing platform for many leading media companies that want to deliver near-HD or HD video content online. Unlike other platforms, Move’s technology is out of beta and has already been used by tens of millions of users to watch long form or live near-HD or HD video content online from leading broadcasters.

“We are pleased to have Move Networks’ publishing platform for this initiative,” said Bruce Campbell, president, Digital Media and Business Development, Discovery Communications. “By providing viewers with a top quality online player, we can draw new audiences to our networks and build more opportunities for our advertisers.”
