These new solutions mean moviegoers can search for a movie by location or title, buy tickets, access a listing of new releases, box office information, read movie news, and even view detailed local area maps to the theater and more. They can be accessed by visiting mobile.movietickets.com from any Internet enabled mobile device or iPhone users can visit an optimized site at iphone.movietickets.com.
The new MovieTickets.com mobile web applications were developed in conjunction with wireless application service provider MobileGates. Along with in-depth domestic movie related information and the addition of mapping functionality, the mobile services also offer personalization features, which include the ability to recall individual searches, favorite theaters and provide quick and easy access to movies and showtimes in specific locations.
