Moving on…

What is the purpose of life? Actually, that is not the point of this post. The more appropriate question is, why am I posting here at 901am? You see, people know me as the editor of The Blogging Times, a blog that I launched from ground up and enjoyed working on until the end. Do not email me seeking for answers why I left. It’s plain and simple: I had to move on.

But really, what is the purpose of life? Rick Warren, known for his book “Purpose Driven Life” said that “life is preparation for eternity. We were made to last forever, and God wants us to be with Him in Heaven. He wants us to practice on earth what we will be doing forever in eternity.”

Does this matter to you? Maybe not, but this is the very reason why I’m moving on. I cannot prepare for eternity there. The purpose is lost.

  1. Interesting usage of that book. I haven’t read it. I know its hugely popular amongst evangelicals.

    Personally I agree. You have to think long term and if you heart isnt in it now, it wont be next year or the year after.
