MTV introduces WannaBeMade.com for personal development journeys

verticle_140.jpgMTV’s Emmy-Award winning series “Made” has chronicled the struggles of a generation of young people on their paths to personal fulfillment. Now, a new online community from MTV, WannaBeMade.com, allows viewers to launch their own personal development journeys with the help of others. The most emotional and rewarding stories will be incorporated into the current season of “Made.”

By simply visiting WannaBeMade.com, viewers who chose to “wanna be made” can quickly and easily find coaches to help them in a potentially endless amount of areas – from cheerleading to acting, break dancing to becoming a prom queen. A viewer, for instance, who wants to be made into a surfer can find surfing aficionados who can recommend all the right boards, offer tips on techniques, and share insight about the best surfing spots for beginners, experts and everyone in-between. Every journey will be chronicled on the viewer’s profile page including diary entries and a personal progress rating.

Hi, My name is Tabatha, I’m 21,& a mother of two, I have a girl named katie, she’s 2yrs old, and a boy, he is 4yrs old.I have been married for 3yrs, to Dusty,we have been together for going on 6yrs.Now that you know a little bet about me,I will tell u why i would like to be made, and what into!I what to be made into something my dughter could look up to ,and something that i could guide her into being a women & being girly. This is something i have always wanted to do since i was a little girl. But came from a small town and there was 7 kids in a three bed room house,I had 4 brothers & 2 sisters.I’m the only one that did not go all the way though school, cause the only thing i could think about is getting out of that town.   18. Hello, my name is Lauryn Boudreaux. I am a freshman at LSHS. My school is very competitive. I am on the Softball team, which I made JV (fresh) year. I’ve been playing that since I was 6 years old, along with soccer. I’ve always been pretty into sports, and I pick them up quickly. I lived with my brothers, Dustin and Josh til I was 7 when they went out of high school and went on their own. I see them atleast everyday. We play games (hitting eachother) and messing around. At school, people don’t exactly mess with me, cause i’m… well me. Ha, i’m not sure why not. But I personally would like to be made into a Boxer. I don’t think nobody, family, or friends would expect me to do this. UFC inspires me more and more, everytime I watch it. I wanna, I wanna be made into a stronger person, who has goals.

  31. Hi, I’m Dallas. I’m 16 and come from McCreary County, Kentucky and trust me it’s the last place anyone wants too live at. It’s a very small county and everyone goes with the flow. My whole life i’ve always tried too stand out and be differnet then all the other girls with my love for motocross(: but even though i’ve always been my own person, i’ve still never shown everyone my true self because i have no confidence. My 8th grade year i got very very sick and missed my whole 8th grade year, after going to the doctor time and time again for almost a year i was finally diagnosticed with a life changing illness called lypose. Then after accepting my life would never be the same, December 22 2007 my bestfriend/cousin got killed in a car accident and become a motocross racer was a dream we both shared and i feel like i’ve always let her down when i gave up the dream. Living with lypose and losing my bestfriend has changed my life and broken my dream of becoming a motocross racer. After 2 years of living with lypose and putting off my dream, i’ve finally recaptered it and i’m asking for MTV’s help to live it, not just for me but for my bestfriend kelsey.. i’ve always felt like it’s the only thing i have left of her and I would be so apreciative to be a part of such a living changing experience, so pleace mtv.. help me?
