NBA player Carmelo Anthony launches personal blog
Carmelo Anthony, one of the most dynamic and charismatic personalities in the NBA, has launched his personal blog at Yardbarker.com, where he will share his thoughts and interact directly with sports fans.
Anthony joins an athlete blog community that includes NFL Pro Bowlers Donovan McNabb, Ray Lewis, Bart Scott and Isaac Bruce, MLB All Star pitcher John Lackey, NBA All Star Baron Davis and future NBA stars Greg Oden and Michael Conley, among others.
“I really like the community that Yardbarker has created because it gives athletes an opportunity to connect with the fans like never before. We all have interests beyond playing basketball and my blog will allow me to share some of my experiences both on and off the court with everybody. Nothing’s off the table,” Anthony said.
We already have Doug Christie doing online radio show and now Carmelo on blogging. Who do you think will be the next NBA superstar to embrace the new media?
