Netscape, the browser, dies

Netscape, the browser that we know since the onset of Internet, is dead. Okay, not yet. Give it until February 1, 2008.

Netscape, the portal, will still be around though.

  1. Ah, the Netscape browser had a good run. But it was from the onset of the World-Wide Web, not the Internet — that was already in place.
