New`Jackass’ movie to premier online

jackass 2.5The movie “Jackass” is back once again to inflict more pain, try more daredevil stunts, and inspire all the masochists around the globe.

Unlike their first 2 films, this new movie entitled Jackass 2.5 will premier online free of charge!

Thanks to the generosity and clever marketing campaign of Blockbuster, we can all watch Jackass 2.5 starting Dec 19 until December 31 at http://www.blockbuster.jackassworld.com.

According to Thomas Lesinski, President of Paramount Pictures Digital Entertainment, this new crazy movie is the first broadband movie ever distributed by a major studio.

The DVD release is scheduled on December 26 and available at Blockbuster, and other major retailers. You can easily download this at iTunes, Amazon.com, and other online retailers.

In this supposedly game-changing business model, profits are derived from early DVD sales, digital downloads, and online ads embedded on the videos.

“When this idea first came up, it was clear that `Jackass’ had a lot of potential on the Internet. First of all, the demographics are just right. And, if you go on to Youtube today, you can see there’s lots and lots of (people) doing stunts … a lot of those people are just copying what the `Jackass’ guys developed a long time ago,” said Lesinski in a news release.
