Next New Networks launches massively multiplayer online game network

logo.gifNext New Networks, the new media company creating branded micro-networks on the Internet, announced the launch of Total MMO, a new online network created for the massively multi-player online gaming community. In addition, UGO Networks , an online media and entertainment company, will team up with Total MMO to be the launch partner for the network. Each new episode will debut on UGO.com in concert with the Total MMO website and podcast feeds.

“The MMOG community is exactly the type of audience we want to reach: targeted, passionate and loyal, and we are excited to bring them the first ever dedicated MMOG network,” said Herb Scannell, CEO and co-founder, Next New Networks. “We are pleased to partner with UGO Networks, which is widely respected, a well established source of news for MMO gamers, and has a reach of 10 million people every month.”

The first show to be broadcast on the Total MMO network is MMO Update, a weekly video digest of MMO games news, reviews, gameplay video, and strategies and is hosted by Abra Chouinard, who will write, produce and edit the show.
