Online video instruction site Videojug.com relaunches, makes debut in the US
Videojug, a newly relaunched online video site, makes its debut in US carrying with it the tagline “Life Explained. On Film.” VideoJug’s mission is to become “the definitive source for credible answers and wisdom for every conceivable aspect of human life.”
Peter Schankowitz, Videojug US Chief Executive, said in a phone interview that Videojug is a video encyclopedia which simply aims to answer the question, “how do we do life?”
With over 15,000 video clips with different formats including “How To” and “Ask the Expert” informative mini films, Videojug takes users through a step-by-step guide through different facets, from lighter and trivial things (hobbies, dating, beauty and style) to more serious concerns (health, legal, parenting) that one faces everyday.
Videojug carefully researches and professionally produces each video clip to uphold the quality and value of their content. Users are also encouraged to upload and share their own videos which are then screened by its team of editors.
Initially launched in September 2006 in Britain with a collection of how-to videos, Videojug has expanded and continues to expand with about 20 categories such as autos, beauty, style, do-it-yourself, health and medicine, technology and gadgets, and more.
