RockMe Online Music Festival to connect bands and fans in real-time

rockme.jpgRockMe, a five- day online music festival taking place from September 18 to 22, will bring five well-known rock bands together to meet and interact with their fans in a unique online social setting. The participating bands include Rose Hill Drive, The Fiery Furnaces, Jeffrey Lewis, Gosling, and The Willowz.

RockMe. takes place within Me.dium, a free web browser add-on that is compatible with Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, and Flock. Me.dium enables users to surf the web with their friends, discover relevant sites and link up with other users who share similar interests. Unlike many page-focused chat rooms that only allow people to chat on a specific site, Me.dium connects users across the entire Web, enabling interaction that spans the Internet.

“Me.dium makes it possible for us to hang with our fans online in real- time,” said Jake Sproul, lead singer of Rose Hill Drive. “We’re excited to take them on a modern day magical mystery tour.”
