salesmecca SalesMecca debuts as sales community social networking siteSocial networking has come to the worldwide sales community with the launch of SalesMecca. This new site, announced today, is being offered as a Web 2.0 resource for sales professionals.

SalesMecca allows users to “leverage the collective knowledge, resources and relationships of other SalesMecca.com members.” The site offers a variety of content to its members, including blogs written by sales industry leaders, a sales event calendar, sales fourms for discussion of related topics and the generation of user-created content.

“To be successful in the sales profession in today’s complex selling environment, you must be a knowledge, resource and relationship broker. In order to do this effectively, sales professionals are more reliant on the Internet to facilitate the knowledge, resource and relationship functions faster,” said SalesMecca founder Sean Piket. “SalesMecca.com makes this easy to do.”
