Crazily enough this is on wp 2.1 no problems with the upgrade.

I had some problems too, actually, but I haven't been able to recreate them. I did live blog them though... Still, it would appear that we're in a minority.

I tried a fresh, clean install of WP 2.1 on an unused domain and I got more error messages than I've ever seen before, posted (begged) for help at the Wordpress forums here with no luck. There's not a chance in a million that I'm upgrading my existing blog portfolio to WP 2.1 when it wont even install on a fresh load properly...and to be fair, I'm not bunny when it comes to WP installs either, I've literally done 100's over the years! :-)
