Sharedbook and JumpTV bring college sports sites’ content to FanBook

sharebook.pngSharedBook Inc., the reverse publishing platform provider, and JumpTV Sports, a division of JumpTV Inc. introduced the FanBook– a unique and interactive way for athletes and their fans to use web content as the basis for creating personalized season record books. Beginning today, students, alumni and fans of the teams at the University of Georgia, James Madison University and the University of Pennsylvania can go to their school’s official team web sites to easily create the books for themselves and others.

Fans can chronicle the football season in a personalized FanBook by combining official team information with individual memories and photographs. With just one click, fans can automatically flow their choice of content from their favorite team’s site – game stories, player profiles, professional photographs, rosters and results – into an online book that can be professionally printed and bound. Individuals are given the choice to preview and purchase the book, or to personalize it more by adding their own comments, photos and stories.

In addition, individuals can share the book making experience with their friends by inviting them into their private and secure personal book making space to contribute their own stories and photos. Those that are invited into the space can also create their own book from the collective assets.
