SpeedDate.com to host Chicago’s first online speed dating event
SpeedDate.com, the world’s first online speed dating website, is hosting its first online speed dating event for Chicago area singles on Thursday, December 13th at 8:00 p.m.
SpeedDate.com allows local singles to meet each other through 3-minute online speed dates using their webcams. Unlike other online dating options, SpeedDate.com allows singles to immediately determine if they have real chemistry before taking the time to meet in person.
To register for the online speed dating event, Chicago singles should enter their email address and zip code at Speeddate.com. The first 30 registrants will receive a free webcam. If you don’t have a webcam you can still participate and meet other singles using a microphone and text chat.
SpeedDate.com was founded by two recent Stanford Business School graduates. SpeedDate’s patented system allows singles to effectively find chemistry online. The company is backed by Silicon Valley venture capital firm Menlo Ventures.
