Syria blocks Facebook
Reuters reports that Syrian authorities have blocked Facebook over what seems to be fears of Israeli “infiltration” of Syrian social networks on the net. The report said that residents of Damascus said that they have not been able to enter Facebook for more than two weeks and it is believed that the ban was made to prevent Israeli users from infiltrating Syria-based groups.
