I talked with the Personal Bee guys back when they were still in beta (this past year) and they have some cool technology. Essentially their bread and butter is the ability to automatically define and extract tags, key phrases, and links from your content without you lifting a finger. So if you were to talk about maybe venture capital funding that a particular company received, even if you hadn't tagged your entry at all, it'd extract tags like VC, investment, the company, the investors, and then could add in other tags that are related to your article.

Sorry, should have been clearer, you can license Megite's source code for a site for $10k, at least that's the price they offered me last year when I was trying to get a meme tracker up and running. Too much for my budget, but a bargain in comparison to what Technorati just bought.

Megite code? No, not megite source code. Of course, you may get a binary version with some limitations. Does any company want to acquire Megite:)
