I'm right there with you Muhammad. Although I have an account on Twitter, I just can't get into it. The whole process seems so disconnected to anything real.

What is John or Jane Doe doing today? Well, since I don't really know them, despite my voyeuristic tendencies, I really don't care. I've got other things to do that make better use of my time.

It's just a new way to communicate and feel like your real friends are in the same room sharing your moments with you.

That's what i like about it.

Yeah I'm still trying to wrap my head around why twitter is so popular myself. I mean I heard about it and decided to try it out, just to get an idea of what everyone is raving about and why.

I mean I can't see how it differs in any way from away messages you leave on an instant messaging client...just built into a website service. If there is something more to this, please let me know.

"The Twitter feeds that I have read thus far, look suspiciously like instant messaging conversations between 16 year olds from the MySpace demographic."

I agree, but there are better uses-- Twitter has a feed from the New York Times.
