To catch an undercover reporter
Michelle Madigan, an associate producer of NBC Dateline, tried to become an undercover reporter with a hidden camera to get videos of people confessing to hacking during DefCon 2007. When it was announced on stage by a DEFCON staff due to issues of trust and privacy, Madigan bolted and she was followed by a pack of DefCon attendees and reporters.
