Travelocity launches first Spanish language site

mexico.jpgTo better serve the growing needs of more than 20 million people in Mexico who have Internet access, Travelocity today announced the launch the company’s first Spanish language site in North America.

With 40 percent of Mexican Internet users having made online purchases to date, 46 percent of which were travel-related, the new Travelocity site offers a trusted name and secure means of making an Internet purchase. And, it offers a wide range of product offerings, including flights, hotels, car rentals, vacation packages, activities and more, as well as special negotiated deals offered by Travelocity companies worldwide.

The site is currently in both Spanish and English, but is expected to be fully in Spanish in 2008. And, customer service is provided by Spanish-speaking agents via a local toll-free number.
