US Airways now accessible via wireless devices
US Airways, the fifth largest domestic airline employing more than 36,000 aviation professionals worldwide, brings expanded internet functionality to hand-held wireless device with the new Mobile US Airways.
Previously, US Airways customers could only check schedules from their handhelds. With Mobile US Airways, customers can easily navigate through the low-graphics, specialized format and use almost all of the features and functionality available at USAirways.com.
“Today it seems like almost all of our customers have a wireless device of some kind on which they have grown accustomed to conducting all manner of business wherever they are. US Airways is now one of a small number of airlines that allows passengers to purchase a ticket via their device, providing the ultimate freedom to all our customers,” said Travis Christ, vice president, sales and marketing for US Airways.
