Utah revamps state Web site

utah-gov.jpgThose living in or seeking information on the state of Utah will be happy to know the site has under gone some extensive remodeling and feautre updates. Utah.gov receives the most visitors per capita of any government Web site in the U.S. with nearly 1.7 million visitors a month.

Utah.gov sports new search features to allow citizens to locate services and information quickly and easily regardless of the agency or jurisdiction. For example, users looking for the address of a state agency can use the new agency search. After typing in the agency’s name in the agency search box, a map appears and provides the user with the agency’s contact information.

The appearance of the site draws upon the state’s geography. “The new Utah.gov makes interacting with government easier and more efficient,” said Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. “Citizens, as well as businesses, benefit from the improved, service-oriented Utah.gov.”
