Veoh launches TV service
Veoh is launching a new streaming TV service, VeohTV. Veoh’s new service requires downloading a software which will allow you to watch and record Internet video from thousands of video sites.
“Video today does not have a killer desktop application and that’s what Veoh TV aims to be,” Veoh Chief Executive Dmitry Shapiro said. “It’s a new type of browser made specifically for video.”
Veoh is backed by Morgan Stanley, Shelter Capital Partners, Spark Capital, The Tornante Company and Time Warner.
