YouTube Let’s Turkey Back In
Two days after instituting a country-wide ban on YouTube for insulting the founder of modern Turkey, the country has now decided to let the video-sharing site back in. The head of corporate communications for Turk Telecom told Anatolia that his company had been notified about the decision to lift the ban and that “[a]s soon as the court decision lifting the ban reached us, we immediately opened YouTube.”
Should Turkey indulge in such blatant disregard for the freedom of speech again, here are a few ways around the ban.
