AnimalAttraction.com, a new breed of social network
AnimalAttraction.com, a social network, unveiled a groundbreaking program with four of the country’s leading animal welfare organizations that combines the power of its online community and the passion of animal welfare supporters to help pets in need.
The ASPCA, Best Friends Animal Society, North Shore Animal League America and The Petfinder Foundation will promote AnimalAttraction.com in more than one million emails per month and receive a $1 donation for each free registration they refer. Each member who joins will then be able to raise more money for their charity by referring their friends ($1 for each friend referred) and by logging-in to the site ($.01 for each day logged-in). AnimalAttraction is committing a minimum of $100,000 to its charity partners in what is believed to be the first program in which the owners of a social networking website, rather than the members themselves, will donate money to charity for free member participation.
