Blend Images adds rights-ready imagery to its online offering

Blend Images has added thousands of the company’s rights-ready images to its online portal, blendimages.com, strengthening their commercial offering.

Blend Images’ rights-ready collection, which is available co-exclusively with Getty Images, is exemplary of their production quality and established focus on multiethnic business and lifestyle imagery. With the launch of the rights-ready licensing model on blendimages.com, Blend Images becomes the first photo agency to directly adopt the model first introduced by Getty Images, the world’s leading creator and distributor of visual content.

Rights-ready, pioneered by Getty Images, is a license model that simplifies the purchase process by offering a standard set of commercial, editorial or internal-company uses, for a set price. Unlike rights managed, customers do not have to specify a large number of use parameters to determine their price. With rights-ready, customers can simply select a use category and proceed to check out. Rights-ready licenses are valid for the duration of the client’s project.
