BlogHer launches “Letter to My Body” campaign, encourages women to love their bodies
BlogHer has partnered with body image expert Jessica Weiner for the launch of its “Letter to My Body†campaign as part of its Healthy Mind, Body and Wallet initiative. The campaign was developed to encourage women to love their bodies and promote self-acceptance and realistic body perception.
Initially introduced on Valentine’s Day, the campaign has generated more than 125 letters written by individual BlogHer community members in the first two weeks alone. Now, as part of the launch, BlogHer has published an in-depth and exclusive audio interview with body image activist Jessica Weiner, who discusses body image and self-esteem, in addition to responding to the letters and other questions from the BlogHer community.
