Flypaper Studio, Inc. has closed $3 million in Series A funding. The venture capital round comes from Sierra Ventures of Menlo Park, California, and SCF Arizona of Phoenix, Arizona.

Flypaper was launched in the recently held DEMO 2008 Conference in Palm Desert, California. The company took home a coveted “DEMOgod” award, which recognizes the top new products from the conference. Flypaper allows users to easily create, edit and share Flash-quality, interactive presentations and rich media content for Web-based delivery or live. With Flypaper, anyone can tell impressive stories without the cost and complexities of custom Flash design and development. The professionally designed story templates, called models, can easily be edited, shared and endlessly reused.
