Google launches Music Onebox in China
Google announced the launch of Music Onebox in China, a service that allows users to search and download licensed music files for free. Music Onebox is obviously Google’s response against China’s frontrunner Baidu which is accused of providing links even to illegal music.
Music Onebox will also allow users to get information about artists and albums, all of which will be downloaded from Top100.cn, a Chinese music website co-founded by basketball star Yao Ming.
