TheStreet.com, Inc. announced that the 12th Annual Webby Awards has nominated the Company’s recently launched personal finance web site MainStreet.com for the Best Business Blog of 2008.

MainStreet.com, a free web site devoted to making personal finance entertaining, was launched in February by TheStreet.com in an innovative push to expand its audience and create additional advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

Hailed as the “Oscars of the Internet” by The New York Times, the Webby is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Web sites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile Web sites.

The 12th Annual Webby Awards will be selected from a pool of nearly 10,000 candidates from more than 60 countries and all 50 states. Award winners will be announced on May 6, 2008, and honored in New York City on June 10th.
