National Lampoon Inc. has inked a licensing deal to place content on Dailymotion. In turn, the two companies will share in advertising revenues generated by the additional content.

The agreement gives Dailymotion access to National Lampoon’s acclaimed comedy programming, including its hugely popular webisodes, which have drawn praise from top critics nationwide. National Lampoon will also be providing premium comedy content in HD on the newly launched Dailymotion HD player.

All of National Lampoon’s new content will be made available on Dailymotion’s Funny channel, where Dailymotion’s team will program the licensed content alongside original content from Dailymotion’s Motionmaker program for the creative community. Combining professional along with user-generated content around users’ areas of interest allows them to more easily discover, view, and share the content they love.
