New iPhone is faster and cheaper
Apple today announced a new iPhone. The new model is 36% faster than Nokia’s N95, according to Steve Jobs, Apple CEO. It is also cheaper at $199 (8 gigabytes), extended battery life up to six hours and five hours of talk time.
A host of different iPhone applications were also released during the announcement, including a wireless email service at $99 a year.
The new iPhone will go on retail this coming July 11.
