Searchme iPhone app released
The Searchme iPhone app is now available at the Apple App Store. This is the first search engine that was specifically designed for the iPhone and iTouch.
Using the Searchme app, you can see web pages without having to click through. Results are presented in a stack of pages that you can flip through or expand with your finger. You don’t have to wait for them to upload in your browser. Once you find what you’re looking for, just double-tap the screen to open the page.
The company also rolled out a new Searchme Shopping feature at www.searchme.com. In time for the holiday shopping rush and black Friday, Searchme gives people a new way to shop online. Visual search allows people to see It lets people flip through stacks of web pages just like a print catalog, provides comparison pricing and one-click access to retailers when you’re ready to make a purchase.
