Sittercity.com acquires Califorsitters.com
Sittercity.com has acquired the assets of online babysitting source Callforsitters.com. Sittercity.com and Callforsitters.com have been two pivotal sites in growing the online caregiving industry, which Sittercity.com initiated in 2001. Last week, Sittercity solidified a deal with Callforsitters.com that included the sale of all their major domains and assets.
In addition to being the inventor of online caregiving, Sittercity also boasts the largest user base in the online care world and is well-known for its innovative approach and savvy technological advances in the online care arena.

I just went to callforsitters.com and Sittercity says that they did not actually acquire any of the callforsitters members.
Sittercity put out a press release for acquiring a domain name?? Week.
